About Four Energy
Four Energy is a sustainable energy supplier and specialist in smart and sustainable energy systems for homes and businesses. By using local residual heat, heat from water, air, and the ground, and green energy, homes and businesses can be heated sustainably and without natural gas.
To contribute to the sustainability of the built environment in the Netherlands by supplying sustainably and locally produced heat and cold.
By 2030, 25,000 homes & and offices will be provided with sustainable heat and energy by installing and operating smart energy systems.
In 2020, Four Energy began developing heating networks and collective heating systems for primarily apartment buildings. We continue the heat supply, but increasingly we see companies, organizations, and developers of residential areas and housing complexes struggling with the problems caused by grid congestion. Not able to obtain a correct grid connection due to grid congestion is a daily occurrence. Grid operators are working hard on the necessary expansion, but alongside this expansion, we also need to become smarter and more flexible.
Today, in addition to supplying sustainable heat and cold, our activities focus on designing, implementing, operating, and managing energy systems. We do this for companies, organizations, and developers of residential areas and apartment buildings.
The company was founded by director Erik Kemink, with Sturm and Schouten Techniek as knowledge and technical partners. Together, these companies form a powerful combination to make the Netherlands more sustainable and natural gas-free. Together, Four Energy and its knowledge partners rely on over 30 years of experience in
civil engineering, installation technology, financing, and the operation of sustainable energy projects. Four Energy, like Sturm, is part of the Bussola Group. All companies within the Bussola Group operate independently, but complement each other and strive for a beautiful and sustainable living environment.
Erik has been active in the field of sustainable energy for many years. First in mobility, now primarily in real estate. For more than 15 years he has led ambitious companies that strive for sustainability. At Four Energy he uses his experience and entrepreneurship for sustainable heat supply.

Eline is enthusiastic about sustainable solutions that can actually be implemented in projects for a greener built environment. Her goal? To make all Four Energy heating systems climate-neutral. She contributes to this with efficient legal and operational management, knowledge management and data intelligence. “I believe solid, lasting solutions for customers are important. At Four Energy, I’m 100% committed to that. That’s the icing on the cake.”
Jacques, with his broad experience, quickly grasps the essence of issues. He chooses simple, workable solutions over unnecessary complexity. His background allows him to oversee the entire financial chain and manage processes effectively. He provides honest, open advice and communicates smoothly with everyone. His no-nonsense approach ensures clarity and results. He is energized by connecting finance and operations and moving forward together.
Martijn draws his energy from projects that contribute to a more sustainable world. At Four Energy, he turns ideas into reality, collaborating with all stakeholders; sustainability is a collaborative effort. With a broad range of interests, he incorporates innovations and proven solutions into projects.

Frieda is enthusiastic, organized, driven, energetic, and smart. As a project assistant and office manager, she supports the management and operational manager to ensure that everything runs smoothly. She’s an indispensable all-rounder. She brings years of experience that she’s eager to apply at Four Energy.

Jan Theo Hoefakker is a project manager at Four Energy. He focuses on growth and structuring processes within various projects. With extensive knowledge of renewable energy and general management, he identifies and capitalizes on market opportunities. Jan Theo works closely with partners, clients, and teams to implement sustainable solutions. His strategic insight and results-oriented approach make him a driving force behind innovative projects.
Kim has been working for quite some time as a marketing manager for companies that contribute sustainably to our planet. She enjoys applying her knowledge of content and online marketing at Four Energy.

Marieke Oosteom is Exploitation manager at Four Energy and ensures that daily operations run smoothly. With an eye for detail and structure, she efficiently manages projects. She leads the business support team and maintains contact with our technical partners. She is known as a well-considered go-getter with a strategic outlook. Structure, order, and clear goals are the foundation for her success.
Melle Mans is a true all-rounder at Four Energy. He’s currently helping to set up the management system, utilizing his broad interests, curiosity, and analytical skills. Melle is completing his History degree and effortlessly transitions between different topics and challenges. His versatility and dedication ensure that processes run smoothly and that the team can always rely on him.
Sandra Winters is an administrative assistant at Four Energy and an indispensable part of the team. With her keen eye for detail and structured approach, she ensures that all administrative processes run smoothly. Her friendly and warm personality makes her a pleasant colleague to work with at Four Energy!
Ouassim works in the business support team. With his background in Business Engineering, he contributes to the customer-focused and efficient operation of our energy systems. He ensures smooth project handover, reliable invoicing, and clear communication with residents. He also makes a significant contribution to optimizing and designing our systems and processes, effectively collaborating with colleagues and external partners.
Sharon (Cher) Brand brings extensive experience in customer service and administration. She works accurately and systematically to maintain order and clarity. Her eagerness to learn allows her to quickly embrace new tasks and challenges. Cher is both independent and a true team player. A true asset to our business support team!
